Just to let you know that The Butchers Arms will not be serving food next week, it will however be open for drinks
in the evenings.
Normal food service will be served from lunchtime Sat 27th January.

We would like to buy a TV for the games room, this is to hopefully be of use by the people who attend a very popular
Lunch Club, which takes place the 1st Thursday each month. ( so a exercise DVD could be played )
Also it would be great to have a TV in place before the Olympic Games start.

To raise money i am putting together a luxury hamper, if anyone would like to
donate items for it please leave at the pub by Sunday evening (22nd Jan ) or pass on to
myself at Dale Garth, Crosby Ravensworth.
I have also drawn a huge TV & divided it into squares, you can purchase a square
at £1 at the pub to win 3 prizes of Champagne, Whisky & Chocolates.

Planning permission has been granted for a fire escape on the mid landing on
the stairs, also a fire blind needs to be fitted at the bottom of the stairs.
It will be a little costly so there will be a few fundraising events over the coming months to help towards
the cost.

Sat 21st Jan, Dominoes at 9pm- proceeds to the fire escape.
Sat 4th Feb, A quiz at 9pm- proceeds to the fire escape.
Raffle prizes would be gratefully received.

The bookcase is needing a few more DVD’s & books so please
take some along if you no longer require them.

A wine tasting will take place in February, i will let you know when
the date has been confirmed.

Tuesday nights are still popular with the “Musicians ” they start playing at 8pm, it is nice to
listen to. So if you play an instrument & fancy a jamming session just pop along.
